Non-FDR Family Mediation with Timothy

Each separation has its unique problems. As a fully qualified and accredited family mediator with over 30 years of experience, Timothy provides mediation to resolve family disputes, including separation, children, property, and finance. Mediation offers an alternative to dealing with disputes through Legal Representatives (accessing Family Lawyers) or the Family Court process. Family Mediation concentrates on resolving shared problems rather than emphasising entrenched and polarised positions, thus reducing hostility and improving the chances of long term cooperation.

Timothy charges a standard rate of NZD $500 per mediation session (usually 90 minutes) and charges an hourly rate of NZD $345 for any pre-mediation drafting or detailed advance work (always discussed in advance and only if necessary) and for drafting final Memoranda of Understandings and Open Financial Summaries. All prices include GST.

Typical time estimates for drafting Memorandum of Understandings are Children Issues (1 hour), Property and Finance (2 hours) and All Issues (3 hours). Drafting times for Open Financial Summaries vary between 1 and 3 hours.
